Greenplum向表中添加一列並以增量順序向其中插入值

我有一個像下面這樣的表 st.student，它有一列。

我需要在其中插入一列，其中的值應該是增量的。像下面這樣。注意 NEW_STUDENT_ID 可以從任何值開始。一旦開始，它就是連續的。對此有什麼查詢？

一種方法是使用以下方法更改表：

alter table student add column NEW_STUDENT_ID   serial;

結果：

student_id  new_student_id
100001          1
100002          2
100003          3
100004          4
100005          5
100006          6
