我正在嘗試在大型數據庫上執行查詢而不終止與伺服器的連接。

我在具有 16gb 記憶體和大約 40gb 可用磁碟的 mac 上使用 Postgres 12.1。數據庫為 78gb,pg_database_size根據 do 最大表為 20gb pg_total_relation_size

無論我執行哪個非工作查詢,我(從日誌中)得到的錯誤是:

在 VS 程式碼中,錯誤是"lost connection to server".

兩個不起作用的例子是:

LIMIT我可以通過添加例如1,000,000來執行一些查詢(例如上面的查詢) 。

我懷疑由於臨時文件而導致磁碟不足,但在日誌中(帶有log_temp_files = 0),我看不到任何正在寫入的臨時文件。

我嘗試增加和減少work_mem, maintenance_work_mem,shared_bufferstemp_buffers. 沒有工作,性能大致相同。

我嘗試刪除所有索引,這降低了某些查詢的“成本”,但它們仍然終止了與伺服器的連接。

此外,我讀到來自超時查詢的臨時文件儲存在 pqsql_tmp 中。我檢查了文件夾,它沒有很大的文件。臨時文件可以儲存在其他地方嗎?

我已經玩了足夠長的時間來得出結論,禁用 JIT ( jit = off) 解決了這個問題。

我可以看到 JIT 僅在 PostgreSQL 11 中引入,這可能就是為什麼網上沒有太多關於它可能導致的問題的原因。

“信號 9”表明這幾乎可以肯定是記憶體不足的殺手。您可以查看/var/log/kern.log或在您的系統上呼叫任何內容進行驗證。臨時文件上的磁碟空間不足不會導致此錯誤。

您應該EXPLAIN對查詢進行查詢以查看它正在使用什麼計劃。我通常會猜這是一個錯亂的 HashAgg,除了你的第一個查詢不應該做任何聚合、雜湊或其他方式。

您也可以嘗試關閉過度使用。這樣,您的程序就會出現普通的記憶體不足錯誤,然後他們可以有序地報告這些錯誤,而不是僅僅從軌道上被核彈而沒有機會報告問題。有適用於 Linux 的說明,也許您可以將它們調整為適用於 MacOS。如果您可以在記憶體使用量開始大量增長時擷取該程序,但在它被殺死之前,您可以獲得有關記憶體分配位置的報告
